In Victoria, British Columbia cabinet ministers Mike Farnworth (public safety) and Rob Fleming (transportation and infrastructure) provide an update on the flooding situation in the southwestern part of the province. As flood waters begin to recede, Farnworth announces that future efforts will focus on recovery and debris management. He also says that as of December 15, flood evacuee support will be managed through the Red Cross rather than local governments. Fleming provides an update on the reopening of highways in the province.
