In Victoria, Mike Farnworth, British Columbia’s public safety minister and solicitor general, provides an update on the flooding situation in the southwestern part of the province. He is joined by provincial cabinet ministers Murray Rankin (Indigenous relations and reconciliation), Rob Fleming (transportation and infrastructure), and Lana Popham (agriculture). The province declared a state of emergency on November 17, and has restricted non-essential fuel purchases and travel to areas affected by flooding to ensure the movement of goods and services.
