Nova Scotia moving to proof-of-vaccination system, final reopening phase – September 8, 2021

In Halifax, Tim Houston, the premier of Nova Scotia, and Dr. Robert Strang, the province’s chief medical officer of health, announce the province will move to its fifth and final phase of its COVID-19 reopening plan on September 15. Mandatory masking, gathering limits, and all other public health measures will be lifted. Border measures will remain in place. On October 4, Nova Scotia will begin requiring proof of full vaccination for all residents aged 12 and older to participate in non-essential activities.
