In Victoria, British Columbia Premier John Horgan announces the province will enter step two of its four-step reopening plan on June 15 and lift more public-health measures that are in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He is joined by Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s provincial health officer, as well as provincial ministers Ravi Kahlon (jobs, economic recovery and innovation), Adrian Dix (health) and Melanie Mark (tourism, arts, culture and sport). Restrictions in the province will be eased over the coming months based on vaccination rates, case numbers, and hospitalizations. Step one of the province’s four-step plan began on May 25.
