In Halifax, Iain Rankin, the premier of Nova Scotia, and Dr. Robert Strang, the province’s chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the provincial response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. Dr. Strang outlines a new asymptomatic COVID-19 rapid testing program in support of the the province’s workplaces. So far, 275 businesses and organizations representing more than 50,000 employees have signed up for the program.
