At a virtual news conference, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh discusses the impact of the federal government’s proposed cut of $800 a month to the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) for July and August. Singh also faces questions about Liberal MP Will Amos, who was caught urinating on camera during a May 26 virtual session of the House of Commons. This is the second time in six weeks that Amos has apologized for a camera incident, after he was caught naked during another House session. Neither incident was visible on the public video feed. The MP from Pontiac has announced he is temporarily stepping away from his parliamentary secretary duties in order to get help.
