At a news conference in Queen’s Park, Ontario Long-Term Care Minister Merrilee Fullerton comments on the findings contained in the independent report from Ontario’s Long-Term Care COVID-19 Commission. The report concludes that the provincial government was not prepared to address the COVID-19 pandemic and had no plan to protect residents after years of neglect. The 322-page final report was presented to the government on April 30.
