Vicki McKenna, provincial president of the Ontario Nurses Association, talks to Peter Van Dusen about how nurses in Ontario have been dealing with the growing number of COVID-19 hospitalizations. Hospitals are over capacity due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in the province, which has led to nurses and other health-care workers being overworked.

Patients are currently being transferred to different hospitals to help fix the issue of overcapacity, but McKenna says that she is worried triage protocols may be put in place if hospitalizations continue to rise.
