At a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney discusses new legislation aimed at improving road safety in the province. If passed, the Moving Ontarians More Safely Act would introduce tougher measures to combat street racing and stunt driving, including longer licence suspensions for high-risk drivers.

Also taking part in the news conference are Kinga Surma, the associate minister of transportation, and Solicitor General Sylvia Jones, who comments on the province’s request to the Canadian Armed Forces to provide assistance in hospitals overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
