In Brampton, Ont., Mayor Patrick Brown provides an update on the city’s response to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). He is joined by Dr. Lawrence Loh, Peel Region’s medical officer of health, and Paul Morrison, Brampton’s director of bylaw enforcement. The update comes one day after Dr. Loh introduced a region-wide public-health order to close workplaces where there have been more than five COVID-19 cases within a 14-day period. Workplace outbreaks have been identified as a significant contributor to the ongoing spread of COVID-19.
