At a virtual press conference, federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu and Toronto Mayor John Tory announce $7.7 million in federal funding for three projects to support people with opioid use disorder in the city. They are joined by Dr. Eileen de Villa, Toronto’s medical officer of health. The three projects aim to increase access to safer supply and to provide a new harm reduction and treatment option.
