City of Brampton update on COVID-19 isolation centres, vaccine distribution – January 20, 2021
In Brampton, Ont., Mayor Patrick Brown provides an update on the city’s response to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). He is joined by Dr. Lawrence Loh, Peel Region’s medical officer of health, and Paul Morrison, Brampton’s director of bylaw enforcement. The mayor announces that two isolation centers are now accessible for people who need to self-isolate after being exposed or infected by the virus. Brown also discusses COVID-19 vaccine distribution and calls on the provincial government to increase the number of doses shipped to the Peel region.
