In Halifax, Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health, and Premier Stephen McNeil provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The update comes as new restrictions take effect province-wide in an effort to prevent a surge of COVID-19 over the holiday period. These new measures will remain in place until January 10 and include limiting indoor gatherings to a maximum of 10 people.
