Manitoba extends COVID-19 restrictions until January 8 with minor adjustments – December 8, 2020
In Winnipeg, Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He is joined by Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief medical officer of health. The premier announces an extension of the province’s public health restrictions until January 8, 2021. Measures were scheduled to expire on December 11. Some modifications to the restrictions will take effect on December 12, such as allowing drive-in religious services and reopening certain stores, including businesses where season decorations and school supplies can be purchased.
