COVID-19 in Alberta: Dr. Hinshaw says new restrictions needed to slow spread of virus – Dec. 7, 2020



In Edmonton, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. She is joined by Paul Wynnyk, Alberta’s deputy minister of municipal affairs and chair of the COVID-19 vaccine task force.

Responding to questions from reporters, Dr. Hinshaw comments on the need for additional restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the province.
