In Charlottetown, Norbert Carpenter (acting director of Prince Edward Island’s Public School Branch), Dr. Heather Morrison (the chief public health officer of P.E.I.), and Tamara Hubley-Little (the province’s director of English education, programs and services) provide an update on the plan to move four high schools in the Charlottetown area to online learning as of December 8 in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the province. Sports and extra-curricular activities in all schools have been suspended.
