In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, and Dorothy Shephard, New Brunswick’s health minister, provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. They ask for residents to have a self-isolation plan in case they get infected or exposed to COVID-19. Dr. Russell also urges New Brunswickers to avoid travelling in or out of hotspots in Atlantic Canada, which are Moncton, Saint John and Halifax.
