In Charlottetown, Dr. Heather Morrison, the chief public health officer of Prince Edward Island, and Dennis King, the premier of P.E.I., provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. They announce that, effective November 24, 2020, P.E.I. is suspending its participation in the Atlantic Bubble and restricting non-essential travel in and out of the province for a two-week period. The announcement comes as Nova Scotia and New Brunswick see rising numbers of COVID-19 cases. (November 23, 2020)
