Manitoba update on COVID-19 as new restrictions come into effect – November 20, 2020

In Winnipeg, Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief public health health officer, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He is joined by Lanette Siragusa, the provincial lead of health system integration and quality as well as chief nursing officer for Shared Health. This update comes as new restrictions announced the previous day go into effect. Under the new rules, gatherings at private residences are restricted and nobody is permitted other than the people who live there. Businesses are prohibited from conducting in-store sales of non-essential items.
