COVID-19 in British Columbia: New province-wide restrictions, mandatory masks – November 19, 2020
In Victoria, Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s provincial health officer, and Health Minister Adrian Dix provide an update on the province’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic.
In her remarks, Dr. Henry announces new province-wide public-health orders in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. In recent days, B.C. has seen record numbers of new cases of the virus. The new measures include strict limits on social gatherings, limits on sports and other activities, and mandatory mask use in indoor public spaces.
