British Columbia update on COVID-19: 998 new cases reported over last 2 days – November 9, 2020
In Victoria, Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s provincial health officer, and B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix provide an update on the province’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Health officials are reporting nearly 1,000 new cases since the province’s last update from 48 hours ago. Dr. Henry discusses the new public-health measures for the Vancouver coastal and Fraser Health regions that went into effect on November 7. Those measures are in place for the next two weeks in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus disease.
