COVID-19: B.C. imposes new restrictions for Vancouver and Fraser Health regions – November 7, 2020
In Vancouver, Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s provincial health officer, and provincial health minister Adrian Dix provide an update on the response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic amid a surge of cases in the province. Dr. Henry announces new public-health restrictions for communities within the Vancouver coastal and Fraser Health regions. The regional orders will be in effect for two weeks, from November 7 at 10 p.m. PST until November 23 noon. The orders focus on social gatherings, travel, indoor group physical activities, and workplace safety. Restrictions include no social gatherings of any size with anyone outside of a resident’s immediate household. Travel to areas in the affected regions should be limited to essential travel only.
