COVID-19 in Manitoba: Number of ICU patients peak – November 4, 2020
In Winnipeg, Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. He is joined by Lanette Siragusa, the provincial lead of health system integration and quality as well as chief nursing officer for Shared Health. The province is reporting a record-high number of 21 patients with COVID-19 in intensive care units since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals has hit 140 and it has also been rising daily in the past two weeks.
