Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Dr. Saqib Shahab, the province’s chief medical officer of health, provide an update in Regina on the provincial response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They announce new restrictions to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Masks will be mandatory in indoor public spaces in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert, effective November 6. The use of masks is recommended for all other communities. The public-health order will be in place for 28 days.
The province is also reducing the number of people from 15 to 10 that can gather in private and home settings. Households with more than 10 family members living in the same residence are exempt.
