Manitoba health officials provide COVID-19 update – November 2, 2020

In Winnipeg, Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. He is joined by Lanette Siragusa, the provincial lead of health system integration and quality as well as chief nursing officer for Shared Health. New restrictions are in effect in the province aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus. The Winnipeg metro region is now in the red or critical level under the province’s pandemic response system, while the rest of the province has moved to the orange or restricted level. The new public-health measures will be in place for at least two weeks.
