Alberta COVID-19 update: New limits for social gatherings in Calgary and Edmonton – October 26, 2020



In Edmonton, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. She announces that, in an effort to slow the spread of the virus, unstructured social gatherings in Calgary and Edmonton will be limited to a maximum of fifteen people. Calgary will also be asked to adopt the same set of voluntary public-health measures that have already been introduced in Edmonton.
