Nova Scotia update on COVID-19 – October 14, 2020
In Halifax, Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health, and Premier Stephen McNeil provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. They announce that the border with New Brunswick will remain open, amid a surge of new cases in that province. Changes to the Atlantic bubble could be considered if there are signs of community spread in Nova Scotia in the coming days. Dr. Strang also provides guidelines regarding safe trick-or-treating for children on Halloween.
