Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc speaks with reporters in Ottawa, where he is expected to respond to the priorities of several premiers for the upcoming federal throne speech. Earlier in the day, provincial premiers François Legault (Quebec), Doug Ford (Ontario), Jason Kenney (Alberta), and Brian Pallister (Manitoba) held a news conference in the nation’s capital to outline their priorities. The federal government will lay out its legislative agenda for the upcoming parliamentary session in the speech, which is set to take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
