B.C. unveils its COVID-19 economic recovery plan – September 17, 2020
British Columbia Premier John Horgan and B.C. Finance Minister Carole James speak with reporters in Victoria after releasing details of the province’s $1.5-billion plan to recover from the economic impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). B.C. is projecting a deficit of $12.8 billion for this fiscal year due to spending related to its COVID-19 response, as well as declines in tax revenue.
