At a news conference in Whitby, Doug Ford, the premier of Ontario, announces additional details concerning the province’s plan for elementary and secondary students’ return to school in the fall of 2020. He is joined by ministers Christine Elliott (health) and Stephen Lecce (education), as well as Barbara Yaffe, Ontario’s associate chief medical officer of health.
