In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Elliott, and Labour Minister Monte McNaughton provide an update on their government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. In his remarks, the premier announces that Toronto and Peel region will enter stage 2 of Ontario’s plan for easing public-health measures on Wednesday, June 24. Windsor-Essex will remain in stage 1, the only part of the province not to enter the second stage of reopening.
