Nunvaut releases plan to ease COVID-19 restrictions – May 25, 2020



In Iqaluit, Joe Savikataaq, premier of Nunavut, and Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut’s chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the territory’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Nunavut government has released its framework on easing public-health restrictions that are in place due to the coronavirus disease pandemic. There are no confirmed or probable cases in Nunavut. Restrictions will be lifted starting on June 1 and will be re-assessed every two weeks.
