In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Premier Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Elliott, and Education Minister Stephen Lecce announce that the Ontario’s schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Publicly funded schools in the province have been closed since March 14 due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
