In Winnipeg, Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister provides an update on his government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic, including direct financial support for seniors. The premier announces a $45-million investment to create the Seniors Economic Recovery Credit, which will provide every Manitoban aged 65 and older with a one-time, refundable tax credit of $200.
