New Brunswick announces job protection measures – April 30, 2020



In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, Trevor Holder, N.B.’s minister of post-secondary education, training and labour, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic, including provisions that offer job protection to workers affected by COVID-19. The premier also announces that the province’s state of emergency has been extended for an additional two weeks.
