Newfoundland and Labrador releases updated COVID-19 projections – April 27, 2020



In St. John’s, Dwight Ball (the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador), Dr. Proton Rahman (associate dean of clinical research in the faculty of medicine at Memorial University), Dr. Janice Fitzgerald (N.L.’s chief medical officer of health), and John Haggie (N.L.’s minister of health) discuss Newfoundland and Labrador’s updated modelling data concerning the possible impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) in the province. Newfoundland and Labrador publicly released an initial set of COVID-19 projections on April 8.
