In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Christine Elliott provide an update on their government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, including its decision to revise its list of essential businesses. The move, which further reduces the number of businesses that are permitted to operate, comes after the province publicly released its projections concerning the possible spread of COVID-19. Also in attendance at the news conference is Dr. David Williams, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health.
