COVID-19: New Brunswick schools to remain closed for rest of school year – April 2, 2020



In Fredericton, Dominic Cardy, the New Brunswick minister of education and early childhood development, announces that, unless the situation improves dramatically, the province’s schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. He also announces measures aimed at promoting home learning. Cardy is joined by his deputy ministers Marcel Lavoie (francophone sector) and George Daley (anglophone sector).
