Yesterday, while Justin Trudeau was trying to say as little as possible and the Conservatives were driving divisions, New Democrats were building solutions. We brought together Members of Parliament, representing Canadians from coast to coast to coast, to engage in an important discussion on the growing protests across the country stemming from the situation in the Wet’suwet’en territories.
We’re at a critical moment – the only way forward is to have hard conversations and take meaningful action. But that requires leadership, and Justin Trudeau has refused to take concrete action. New Democrats are keeping the pressure on – and calling on Justin Trudeau to commit to meet with the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs.
